Classroom (and light studio) Adventures!
As the weather stays cold, we are lucky to have a facility with lots of indoor options to get us out of our classroom and get our imaginations running! Today we visited a refreshed light studio:
This week's theme: SPACE
Since we have already completed a space unit, we were SO READY!
We also experimented with ribbon lengths today and enjoyed an impromptu dance party....
Because, why not?
As were getting older, you may notice us attempting to describe how big something is ("it's really REALLY big!"). If you catch a chance, ask your little one how long something is, too. Don't worry if they get the answer mixed up, or even treat the word 'long' as though it means the same thing as 'big', thats totally normal. But, giving them new comparison words, like 'long' and 'short', gives them more language to explain their ideas with. :)
Thanks for letting us explain silly ideas all day, your kiddos are so smart!
