Discovery Thursday!

We discovered & explored so much today!

First, we discovered leaves, tree bark, & seed pods on the playground.

"It's a leaf!"

snapping seed pods - what sound does it make?

Second, we discovered bees, sand "people", and various other forms of life in the outdoor classroom.

And third, we discovered that potatoes come in different colors, and when you cut them, the color is still on the inside. We also discovered how we can smash softened potatoes with our hands, or use knifes to cut them into small pieces. Some friends also discovered that they could easily take the skins off the potatoes.

Our little brains (and not so little brains) needed an early nap day after that!  But we are having so much fun while we are learning and loving every minute of the day.
