What did we NOT do today?!

Preparing for the Holidays is both an exciting time and a little bit rushed as there is so much to do!

Today started as always with Davening and some time on the playground. Then we washed our hands, and covered our table for the first of the special Holiday events - making our Challah bread from scratch with Ms. Georgia. We used our fine motor skills and listening ears, AND we took turns pouring and stirring.

Tomorrow we will form the dough into circles and bake it for a special treat.

Then we went to our first Shabbat Assembly of the year. The kids loved the music and had special wands with ribbons to wave. We used our gross motor skills to climb the riser, dance, and wave the ribbons.

Next we went to our outdoor classroom to exercise our five senses.  The last of the tomatoes in the garden boxes were very tasty and a nice mid-morning snack.

And of course we had just the best time in the classroom - learning and having fun with friends!

"I have to change my baby"

"Need a chair"

"Glasses. Cheese!"

"Here is the davening coin. Put it in the box."
