What's in your box?

In today's "not a box", we discovered that boxes could be hiding places:

and comfortable places to sit.

We also asked the children what they are putting in their box as they drew pictures. We received lots of ideas!  Some of them included their friends, Ms. Shelby, family members, letters, animal sounds, and themselves. These will all be hung up in the hallway art gallery for Family & Friends day, so you can see what fantastic imaginations our students have.

Thanks to our generous parents, we received off of the wish list some water reveal boards, that are reusable and can easily be "painted" with water. The kids loved this activity!

And as it's Wednesday, we have our weekly time on the bike track. We are seeing about half of our class pedaling so we are putting out more of our "big kid" bikes. In addition to the bikes, we found big rocks, looked for ants, watched a class of older children at play, climbed the chain link fence, & had a dance party.  This class never ceases to amaze me.
